The Fishermans Wife – Opening in style!

After 5 decades of frying up the Nation’s beloved Fish & Chips on George Street, new development plans meant it was time for a change. September 17th 2019 marked the Grand Opening of the Fisherman’s Wife in Kirkgate Market Food Hall.
Maddi, Rob and I had the pleasure of being part of the special day, soaking up the atmosphere, taking pictures and talking to industry professionals and customers. This was truly a great day for all involved.

National Fish & Chip Day 2019

National Fish and Chip Day is a celebration of a treasured UK dish and the people who create it for us. One of these dens of golden delicacies is Merchants Fish Bar in Bewdley, a fish and chip shop and fish restaurant located right on the bank of the River Severn. This year we combined this day of celebrating the nations favourite takeaway with also trying to raise money for an incredibly worthy cause.

After our article about the changes to Uber Eats terms of service we have had a number of people interested in more information about it – some about the food delivery apps available, but mainly, is delivery the right option for them? Well, I thought it would make sense to create another article to answer this question.

Uber Eats Made Changes to Service

Uber Eats has now opened up its food delivery app to 50,000 restaurants in the UK and Ireland, giving them access to their technology and the fast-growing platform. The difference now is that instead of having to use independent delivery drivers provided by the app, restaurants can now use their own delivery staff as an option.
