We visited Fiddlers Elbow!

Fiddlers Elbow Fish 'n' Chip collage

Last week we had the pleasure of visiting our lovely customers, Dominic & Linzi, owners of Fiddlers Elbow! During the visit we got to try their amazing Fish & Chips, have a good catch up, see the set-up behind the scenes and talk about what the future holds.

Located in the lovely Roman village of Leintwardine, Dominic’s homemade fishcakes are the hit of the town and can hardly keep up with demand! Some customers love them so much they buy in bulk! All freshly made onsite for the best quality and premium taste.

Dominic & Linzi are the perfect team and it’s clear to see the passion they have for the industry and their business with plans for improvement continually ongoing.

After achieving Top 60 in their first year and Top 20 the year after, Fiddlers Elbow are looking forward to entering again this year and hearing their feedback to help improve their business even more.

Most of their menu is gluten free and they offer a broad range of Vegan options too, however they are still looking to expand this range, continuing to cater to customer needs. People come from far and wide knowing that they can have their dietary requirements met at Fiddler’s Elbow.

Dominic & Linzi are so committed to providing quality to their customers, they go and collect their pies from their supplier in Liverpool personally, to ensure they are kept in top condition and can be served the way they were meant to be.

I tried their delicious Fish & Chips with curry sauce, all gluten free, including dairy free batter too! While it was being cooked, we talked about the benefits of the range.

When talking about Florigo, here’s a few things they had to say:

“We’re busier than with the old range, but it doesn’t feel like it because the range can keep up with demand and that makes life easier for us.”

“With a Florigo HE Range we like how easy it is to control the temperature. The built-in filtration helps us manage our oil keeping it clear of carbon particles which in return assists in lower calorific food.”

Fiddlers Elbow are closed on Sunday & Monday, but they still don’t rest! When they find the time, they enjoy visiting other award-winning and successful Fish & Chip shops, getting to know everyone in the industry even better and taking inspiration back to their business motivated by the people that make this industry great.
