The National Fish and Chip Awards are all over now for another year and Florigo would like to extend their congratulations to all of this years worthy winners.
We are very proud of our Florigo customers who put themselves forward and entered the awards and were very successful.
With 25% of the top 20 independent takeaways being Florigo customers, we were over the moon for Millers in Haxby to be crowned regional winner and 3rd place nationally.
We also congratulate Kingfishers in Plymouth who were chosen as the Number 1 in the UK.
4 out of the top 10 restaurants are Florigo customers with The Pelican in Barnstaple becoming a top 5 finalist. Congratulations to Harbour Lights who won the award for restaurant of the year.
2 out of the 3 finalists for Best Newcomer are Florigo Customers with Longsands being crowned number 1, another worthy Florigo winner. Well done to Northbeach Fish & Chips for getting so close.
For the Healthy Eating award which is a very important award in today’s market, again we had a Florigo customer and a winner with Towngate Fisheries winning the award. Towngate Fisheries were also a finalist in the Field to Frier award.
It was a fantastic event and we look forward to the 2018 awards.
