Florigo are very proud to have had their fryers installed in two of Rick Stein’s establishments: Stein’s Fish and Chips in Padstow and Rick Stein’s Fish in Falmouth.
Stein’s Fish and Chips, situated on the very popular quayside in Padstow, had a 7 High Efficiency pan L-Shaped fryer installed along with a Planche Plate to serve up the wide variety of freshly locally sourced fish.
Following on from the success of this fryer, when Rick Stein decided to open a further site in Falmouth, another Florigo fryer was chosen. Rick Stein’s Fish and Chips in Falmouth was the first venture away from the Padstow area. With a 130 seat restaurant, takeaway and oyster bar, it has a menu and design similar to the fish and chip restaurant on the quayside in Padstow.
Another large fryer was chosen to keep up with the large number of hungry customers: a 9 High Efficiency pan L-Shaped fryer complete with a Salamanda and a 2 ring gas hob. Just like the menu in Padstow, the menu features a range of fresh fish alongside an oyster bar, serving fresh River Fal oysters, selected wines and champagne.
