Back in September 2011, The Cods Scallops in Wollaton opened it’s doors armed with a Florigo 4 pan wall range with an aim to serve the freshest seafood in town to eat in or take away. With an array of fresh fish delivered daily and the best fish and chips on offer, it wasn’t long before the awards started to stack up with The Cods Scallops becoming one of the most popular Fish & Chip shop and restaurants in Nottingham.
Owner, John Molnar, was always planning to roll out The Cods Scallops concept and with people travelling from the other side of Nottingham to experience the fine food on offer, where better to set up the next branch – Hello The Cods Scallops Sherwood!
There was no decision to be made on what range John wanted to install at his new venue – In his own words “After having a Florigo in my first shop, it was a no brainer!”.
We were very happy to install a 5 pan wall range equipped with high efficiency pans and our Active Triple Filtration at the new site to cope with the expected demand. John also decided to opt for basket pans instead of round pans, which took some getting used to but has provided him with greater flexibility.
John absolutely loves his new range and after being open a few months now, The Cods scallops in Sherwood is another success story.
We can’t wait for branch number 3!
