Our fantastic customers at Taylors have won multiple awards ranging from the South Wales Echo Food & Drink Awards to the Welsh Regional Winners of the National Fish and Chip Awards 2007/08 and a Finalist in the British Awards, since winning they haven’t entered any further awards, they now like to spend time concentrating on their food and business developments.
Our amazing customers at Trenchers have worked extremely hard to win the Best Fish & Chip Restaurant, so what a fantastic way to start the year. We had a chat with General Manager, Andrew Wilkinson about how winning the award has felt, the awards process and some advice for those considering entering the 2020 awards.
Lauren Kellaway from Kellaways Fish and Chips has had a very successful year, she has managed to make the Top 6 for the Drywite Young Fish Frier Award. Being a finalist has provided many fantastic opportunities for Lauren. Last week I went to visit Dan Lafford at Malt & Anchor. Malt & Anchor is an award-winning restaurant going into its third year. With another nomination in the upcoming 2019 Fish & Chip Awards for Best Restaurant, Malt & Anchor keep going from strength to strength.
